Fans of the quirky will no doubt be rejoicing at the news that Rising Star Games have today announced it will be publishing the Deadly Premonition in PAL territories, with a slated autumn release date.

If you’ve not heard of it, Deadly Premonition is an odd-ball survival horror from Access Games; released in the US and Japan earlier this year, it was met with (shall we say) a ‘mixed response’. Martin Defries, managing director, Rising Star Games, had this to say:

“Having seen how Deadly Premonition split reviewers’ opinions in America, gamers are itching to get their hands on it to judge it for themselves. We have high hopes for what can only be described as the most distinctive survival horror game that has ever been released – it’s going to be interesting to see how the game is received over here. It’s a cult classic in the making.”

Spend some time checking out some videos on Youtube, and there’s every chance you might agree with him – Deadly Premonition really does look like something very special/very bad…and we can’t wait to play it!

Deadly Premonition launches for £24.99 in the autumn.
