Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva received its European premiere earlier today at the NFT in London. The animated feature film is the first to be based on Nintendo’s multi-million selling puzzle game franchise, and follows the Professor and his assistant Luke as they try to solve the mystery of Ambrosia – a land said to harbour the secret to eternal life.

With a story written by series developers Level-5, Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva mimics the structure of the games, as Layton’s journey is peppered with a number of puzzles that invite audience participation. Although the film isn’t released in Europe until this Autumn, the NFT is hosting a special public screening this Sunday (May 23rd).
