Sega have announced the release date and Special Edition packages of it’s much anticipate FPS, Aliens Vs Predator.

On 19th February 2010, gamers will be able to choose from the standalone game or a steelbook ‘Survivor Edition’ (including an unlock code for 4 exclusive multiplayer maps). True Alien/Predator/space marine aficionados out there will probably rather go for the far more glossy ‘Hunter Edition’, which comes complete with a ‘3D Lenticular Card’, ‘Prestige Packaging’, ‘Weyland Logo Material Sleeve Badge’ and…most importantly…a replica Facehugger!

Sure, you’re probably already drowning under a flood of Fallout 3 bobbleheads, Modern Warfare 2 night-vision goggles and all manner of faux plastic musical instruments, but the possibility of having your very own facehugger is a fairly tempting proposition!

Let’s hope that the actual game is up to snuff; Sega themselves are promising great things and that we should expect to ‘experience a war like never before between three of sci-fi’s most iconic characters; the Alien, the Predator and the Colonial Marine’.
