Splinter Cell: Conviction to be set in Malta?
Looks like Sam Fisher’s next adventure will be set on the Mediterranean island of Malta, if the latest teaser trailer for Splinter Cell: Conviction is anything to go by.
The trailer, released by Ubisoft this morning on the game’s official website, shows an orbital satellite scouring the globe for a target, eventually zooming in on Malta as a commercial plane flies overhead. A tourist island under siege, perhaps? Sounds good to us.
So what else is obvious from the trailer? Well Michael Ironside is back reprising his role as Sam Fisher and he’s as moody as ever, complaining about how he lost his daughter and shot his best friend. And you thought you were having a bad morning.
More details on Conviction are promised in the two weeks leading up until E3, with a full reveal presumably due at the “greatest show on earth” in just under three weeks time.

I Abseluty love the Splinter Cell series,
I heard thats its nothing compared to the first 3, There is’nt much sneaking around, and there is alot a hand to hand combat.
But i think that it’ll turn out awsome like the last 3,
I think that the storyline is….
Sam gets framed or something and he become a fugertive.
COOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!
CAN WAIT 2 PLAY IT.
Being Maltese, I am intrigued what will happen here at home in the game …
Sam Fisher in the land of Pastizzi. AWESOMESAUCE
