A Ubisoft representative has told Eurogamer that the publisher has “no plans” to show Beyond Good & Evil 2 at this year’s E3.

Which begs the question, why not?

Beyond Good & Evil 2, which is currently in production at Ubisoft Montpellier under the watchful eyes of Michel Ancel, was first revealed at last year’s Ubidays event in Paris, but we’ve not seen anything of it since. Or at least, we don’t think we have…

A video rumoured to be of Beyond Good & Evil 2 popped up last week, but is it in-game footage or just plain, old FMV? Is it even BG&E2 at all? Looks like we’ll be holding out for the answer for a little bit longer.
