Talking to PlayStation Blog, Zipper Interactive VP Michael Guttman has revealed that there will be a public beta test for upcoming MMO-Shooter MAG.

When asked by Jeff Rubenstein whether or not a beta test for MAG was a possibility, Guttman replied:

“Certainly, Mag will definitely have a beta. I guess that’s probably all I’ll say at this point, but we’ll be getting more information about that very soon.”

“We’re really excited about the beta and we want to make sure that it’s designed and set up to be the great experience you expect it to be.”

MAG is the PS3-exclusive online shooter that allows 256 players to wage war on a single battlefield, which means it’s probably going to be as chaotic as it will be fantastic when it launches at the end of the year.
