Play Left 4 Dead 4 free

Valve is offering all Steam users the chance to play Left 4 Dead for free this Friday.

The 24 hour free trial, which kicks off at 12:01 AM GMT tonight, will allow gamers to sample the full game plus the recently released Survival Pack, which introduces a new multiplayer game mode as well as two additional Versus campaigns.

Steam users can pre-load the game now so they’re ready to go come midnight, and there’s no obligation to purchase either, says Valve.

We reviewed Left 4 Dead back in December last year, calling it “a stunning example of Valve once again pushing the boundaries in first-person gaming.” In other words, it’s a bit good.

Give it a go. What else are you going to be doing on a Friday afternoon, anyway?
