Chalk this one up as a rumour for now, but Jersey-based online retailer Play.com has just listed a Limited Collector’s Edition of Star Ocean: The Last Hope on its website.

Unfortunately the retailer doesn’t detail what’s set to be included in the Limited Edition (presumably because they don’t actually know themselves), but have popped a whopping £54.99 price tag on it anyway. That’s £20 more than the standard edition.

Why not take the plunge? It’ll probably contain all sorts of fancy Star Ocean goodies.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope is the fifth entry in the long-running sci-fi RPG series and follows protagonist Edge Maverick as he soars through the stars during the aftermath of World War III.

Square Enix announced yesterday that the game will be releasing across Europe on June 5th. We’ve contacted them for comment.
