Industry news site MCV is reporting that PS3-exclusive inFamous will release in the UK on May 29th.

The superhero sandbox title was originally due to launch in June, but plans to bring forward the game’s release in North America were revealed a couple of weeks ago. Thankfully, it looks like Sony Europe didn’t want to leave out us Brits and decided to follow suit.

Later today Sony is also expected to confirm reports that inFamous will offer access to an upcoming multiplayer beta planned for Uncharted 2, details of which leaked over the weekend.

inFamous is the latest game from Sly Raccoon developers Sucker Punch Productions, which sees protagonist Cole McGrath blessed with superhero powers following an explosion. And if our experience with the GDC demo is anything to go by, it’s going to be great.
