Street Fighter IV 360 patch breaks online functionality

The internet is awash with reports that the Xbox 360 title update released this morning for Street Fighter IV has broken the game’s online modes.

Attempting to get into an online game after installing the patch results in a screen informing players that there are no available sessions, with users unable to create their own sessions either. It affects all of Street Fighter IV’s online game modes, including Ranked, Player and Championship matches.

The PS3 version is reportedly unaffected.

The Power Up Pack, a free update released this morning, adds an online Championship Mode as well as the ability to download other players’ Replays. Let’s hope we can use it soon.

UPDATE (16:00 BST): Looks like Capcom just remembered to turn their servers back on. Crisis over.

I forgot this update was coming this morning. Neat, popping out Killzone 2, inserting SFIV.
