The chemistry model is hard to get your head around at first, but soon makes sense. I've loved the fact that my 3 star team with high chemistry can batter these idiots with their 5 star low chemistry sides. In that respect it feels more like an online manager mode than we've seen before on console. This comparison with Man Utd by the reviewer is totally off the mark. A game needs a mechanic that can be understood. A series of restrictions that challenge the gamer to operate within them as best they can. EA have done that well, so for the reviewer to say Man Utd have 13 nationalities and they are the best team in the world, shows a total disregard for how to design a game. Yes a game you ponk. The service now is a hell of a lot better than the early days. So that 66 should be nearer an 80 for me. I don't have a problem if people want to buy cards. So long as the match making is designed so they play each other more often. At the moment that doesn't seem to be the case, or it's not working properly. I suggested a similar tournament feature in FIFA 2010 where gamers buy coins to enter tournaments. Of course EA doesn't want to turn into a gambling ring, so trading cards makes sense. As long as FIFA 2010 is as good as 09, those nerds at EA Sports can do whatever they please :) I like Ultimate Team.
