Resi 5’s run at the top ended by Wii Fit
Resident Evil 5 has lost its place at the top of the UK All Format Charts after a three-week run.
Everyone’s favourite exercise game, Wii Fit, is back on top again as everyone prepares to scoff themselves full of chocolate in the weeks ahead. We like your forward thinking. Meanwhile EA Sports’ FIFA 09 is still performing well, moving up three places into third position. We’d like to say that it’s rise came as a direct result of Macheda’s scorcher at Old Trafford yesterday, but, well it wasn’t, because these figures are for the week ending April 4th. Ho hum.
Vin Diesel’s Wheelman also moves up a whole seven places from last week’s debut at 11, now up to number 4. It’s actually quite good, you know.
And despite the launch of the DSi last Friday, GTA: Chinatown Wars still doesn’t seem to be doing particularly great, dropping another two positions on last week to number 10.
New release Wanted: Weapons of Fate also fails to make much impact, debuting at number 15, while Xbox 360-exclusive Ninja Blade fails to make any sort of impact at all, failing to even reach the top 40. And in case you’re wondering, it’s at number 17 in the Xbox 360 charts, just below World Championship Snooker 09. Oh dear…
