What are ya buyin’? – 13/03 PAL Release Roundup

Another Friday 13th, another helping of spine-tingling gaming.
Or not, as if you’d read our review of Resident Evil 5 (360, PS3) you’ll have taken note that it’s not in the slightest bit scary. Still quite good mind, even if its archaic control system doesn’t help its action-packed initiative. Sort it out for the next one, Capcom. Please? Oh, and if you have been waiting for the right moment to buy a 360, why not pick up the Limited Edition Red Resident Evil Elite console? ‘Tis swish.
Also finally seeing the light of day on these shores is SOCOM Confrontation (PS3), available to buy bundled with or without a wireless headset, or even over PSN if you don’t fancy a box. If you’re wondering where the review of that is, we’re having a good old D+PAD war tonight, so look out for our thoughts over the coming days. If you’re lucky I might even capture some footage of me C4′ing Simeon.
The other highlight of the week is Red Alert 3: Uprising, the PC-only digitally-distributed stand-alone expansion to last year’s C&C. The newest member of the D+PAD team, Ryan, is having a play of that as we speak, so check back next week for his thoughts on that.
Sonic & The Black Knight (Wii), Resistance Retribution (PSP) and Persona 4 (PS2) bulk up the rest of the week’s releases. Check out the list below to see where you can pick them up the cheapest.
