Speaking on his Twitter, Treyarch’s Community Manager Josh Olin has revealed that a release date for Call of Duty: World at War’s upcoming Map Pack 1 will be announced later today on GameSpot.com.

The news follows on from Olin’s prior Twitter update, where he revealed that more information on World at War’s DLC is “so close”.

Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 1 is set to contain three new multiplayer maps, as well as one extra map for use in the Nazi-Zombies mini-game.

So, to find out when you’ll be able to download the new maps, keep an eye on GameSpot.

UPDATE: GameSpot has just confirmed that Map Pack 1 will be available to buy from Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Store from Thursday March 19th. A price is yet to be confirmed.
