Capcom has announced that a demo of Resident Evil 5 will be available to download on PlayStation Network next month.

The demo, which hits the European PSN on February 2nd, will contain two levels and offer up three ways to try out the game’s co-operative play: single-player with AI support, two-player split-screen on a single PS3 and two-player across PSN.

The demo will also be available in Europe on Xbox LIVE one week earlier on January 26th.

Resident Evil 5 launches on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 13th, and if you really can’t wait for it why not take a look at us having a go on the Japanese Xbox LIVE demo over on D+PAD TV?
