Killzone 2 Multiplayer Beta

A written description of Killzone 2’s online beta really can’t do it justice; it is after all essentially just another multiplayer FPS, but the synergy between its visuals, gameplay, levelling system and art style raise it head and shoulders above most of the competition. In fact, current champion, CoD4, should be very worried indeed; feeling every bit a crystallisation of Sony’s promises, Killzone 2 is sniping for its crown.

    I was getting a bit battle scarred and weary after being dragged through the build up hype of WoW expansions, MGS4 and Resistance2. KZ2 was a thankful year away but now with just two short months to go another hype is slowly building up.

    But if all predictions are true, and the positive comments from around the gamer websites and beta players just keep coming, then Killzone 2 is going to be the killer FPS of any console in 2009.
