Konami has announced that the next wave of downloadable content for Metal Gear Online will be available on PlayStation Network next week.

The DLC titled ‘MEME EXPANSION’, which will be available to download from November 25th, will include three new maps: Silo Sunset, a rough, uneven industrial area, Forest Firefight, a foliage-packed forest, and Winter Warehouse, a snow-blown deserted factory.

The MEME EXPANSION also unveils two new characters which are playable for the first time. Liquid Ocelot enters the fray with the ability to manipulate the Sons of the Patriots’ lock system using his Guns of the Patriots skills, and can also deactivate the weaponry of a targeted for within Metal Gear Online’s multi-player modes. Similarly, Mei Ling comes into play with three unique attributes, including the Trench Mortar weapon, Soliton Sonar capabilities, and the means to transfix enemies.

The expansion will be available to pre-load from November 18th for 7.99 Euros, along with a special bundle pack containing the previous ‘Gene Expansion’ available for 12.99 Euros.
