Halo 3: Recon’s single-player campaign will only be 3-5 hours long, it’s been revealed in the latest issue of Game Informer.

The short length of Halo 3’s expansion will also be reflected in the price says Bungie’s Joe Staten stating “we do not view this as a $60 title”. Hopefully that means we’ll be looking at a sub-£20 release when it launches next year.

Game Informer also revealed that the expansion will allow you to download the highly sought-after Recon armour, provided that you’ve completed the Vidmaster Challenge series of achievements.

Halo 3: Recon is due to launch exclusively on Xbox 360 in the second half of 2009.
