MTV Games and Harmonix have announced that Foo Fighters ‘The Colour and the Shape’ will be available to download on Rock Band Music Store later this week.

Featuring 12 classic tracks from the alternative rockers, The Colour and the Shape includes hit singles “Monkey Wrench” and “Hero”, and having sold over 2 million copies in the US alone, it’s the most successful Foo Fighters album so far.

The ‘real’ album also features “Everlong” but that’s not being included in the DLC, presumably because it’s bundled in with Rock Band 2, launching in the UK on Xbox 360 next week. Here’s the track list in full:

The Colour and the Shape will be available to download from tomorrow on Xbox LIVE, and from November 13th on PSN. It’ll set you back 1600 Microsoft Points or $19.99, with individual tracks priced at 160 MS Points ($1.69). We’ll be buying it, won’t you?
