SEGA Mega Drive Ultimate Collection coming to PS3/360
SEGA has announced that they will be releasing SEGA Mega Drive Ultimate Collection on PS3 & Xbox 360 early next year, containing 40 classic titles from the glory days of the early 90s.
In development by Backbone Entertainment, who developed the Sonic Rivals series on PSP as well as the iPod conversion of Sonic The Hedgehog, SEGA Mega Drive Ultimate Collection will feature HD versions of Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2 and 3, Columns, Alien Storm, Ecco the Dolphin, Space Harrier, Streets of Rage 1, 2 and 3 and more. There’ll apparently also be bonus content from Master System titles and 1980s arcade games.
Just give us an HD Dreamcast collection next SEGA and we’ll die happy.
SEGA Mega Drive Ultimate Collection launches worldwide on PS3 & Xbox 360 in early 2009, and you can check out the first screens below and the debut trailer over on D+PAD TV.
