Microsoft has announced that Banjo-Tooie will be heading to Xbox LIVE Arcade next year.

The sequel to the N64’s Banjo-Kazooie is due to hit Xbox LIVE Arcade in ‘Early 2009′, following the XBLA release of the original on 26th November.

Banjo-Tooie takes place two years after Banjo-Kazooie, where Gruntilda and her sisters, Mingella and Blobbelda, are planning to restore Gruntilda’s body to its original form. Banjo and Kazooie must stop them before it is too late.

Microsoft also released the first official trailer for Banjo-Kazooie, which you can check out over on D+PAD TV.

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts goes on sale on November 14th, and pre-order customers will have early (and free) access to the XBLA version of Banjo-Kazooie. Otherwise the game will set you back 1200 points when it launches on November 26th.
