More licensed teams confirmed for PES 2009

Konami has announced that Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 will feature more licensed teams than ever before with the Dutch Eredivisie and French Ligue 1 both represented in their entirety, with full kits and player rosters.

The publisher also confirmed that key clubs such as Manchester United, Liverpool, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and FC Porto will be fully licensed for this year’s PES. Northern Ireland also joins the International roster for the first time.

The new Wembley Stadium will also be included as well as “faithfully recreated” versions of the Stade de France and Stadio Olimpico di Torino. To coincide with the news, Konami released 8 new screens which you can check out below.

PES 2009 hits Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on October 17th followed by versions for PlayStation 2 on 30th October, and for PSP on 6th November. A Wii version is due to launch in 2009.
