3D screenshot of Call of Duty: World at War released
Activision has released a 3D screenshot of Call of Duty: World at War, and it’s looking hot.
UPDATE: Activision have now released the second screen in the series, which you can check out here.
The 3D screen gives us a good look at the game’s flamethrower, allowing you to rotate 360 degrees around the scene of an allied soldier setting a bunker alight.

Call of Duty: World at War is the latest title in the long line of the esteemed franchise, taking the series back to its WWII roots. The game launches across Europe on November 14th on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Wii, DS and PS2, and if you haven’t yet checked out the latest trailer, you really should.

In the race for best looking flamethrower this Christmas, COD5 has Gears2 beaten.
Something is wrong with the flame/smoke effect. as you rotate, you can see (through the smoke) the trees in the background but not flame!!!

haha when its about halfway through the clip, the top of the fire coming from the flamethrower overlaps the skin of the background! check it! you can see the fire only showing up where the trees are, but not on the sky (look near the middle top of the flaqme halfway through.)

yey lets go back to WWII genera and beat it further into the ground. maybe they will get to the earths core and decide that modern day is the way to go.

They did a great thing in cod 4 with the modern combat and now they screw it all up!!!

newfagcan you be. If you pay attention there are two deifferent companies devolping COD. Treyarch is COD5’s developer. And Infinity Ward developing COD4. They alternate so that Activision can realse a sequal every year. It has been highly rumored that Treyarch will work on COD’s from the past. And I.W. will be working on current or if we a lucky Call of Duty: Future Warfarewow i hope they have prestigues again because i got 10th prestigue on COD4 and im prepared to get the highest rank on the game again, the graphics are immense i cant wait to buy it
that is crap. all those sprites are rendered the same technique like in past century! do you mean THAT looks cool or realistic? hahaha!!! let’s wait for FC2 and that will tell how can flamethrower look like(or more how should it act like). FC2 comes already in a month!
You guys are all retarded WWII games are great look at COD2 this will probably be even better than COD4. Who cares if its not like modern warfare.
