Activision has announced “the biggest pre-order incentive the industry has ever seen” as it nears Guitar Hero: World Tour’s release this November.

The company is set to give away a free bass guitar to everyone that pre-orders the Guitar Hero: World Tour Band Bundle to use with the game. The Band Bundle already consists of a guitar, drum kit and microphone, with a bonus bass guitar being placed into pre-order packs. And unlike Rock Band, the game is also included in the box.

“Consumers who pre-order the Guitar Hero World Tour ‘super bundle’ from any retailer – either online, or in-store – will bag a bonus bass guitar. This is a significant investment to reward our loyal fans, ensuring the full band experience is available from the off” said David Tyler of Activision.

“With demand likely to far outstrip supply, pre-ordering is the only way to assure a copy at launch.”

Guitar Hero: World Tour goes on sale across Europe in November, and you better get your pre-order in now if you fancy playing it this year.
