Sony has opened applications to the Resistance 2 public beta. To apply head over to MyResistance, fill out your details and cross your fingers.

The beta allows players to try out Resistance 2’s 60 player online multiplayer mode and the 8 player co-op. Space is on the beta is also said to be limited, so if you want to try it you better get yourself signed up quick. Successful applicants will be notified by email once selected.

There’s no word on whether the beta is only open to particular regions, but we’ve just logged ourselves in from a UK account and had no problems signing up.

Resistance 2 is out this November exclusively on PlayStation 3.
