Dante to appear in MotorStorm Pacific Rift as well?

Following on from last month’s rumour that Old Snake may be featuring in Sony’s ‘brutal offroad racer’ MotorStorm Pacific Rift, we’ve spotted another character in the latest MotorStorm trailer that looks like a certain devil slayer.

A short clip of what looks like Dante riding a motorbike occurs at 1 minute 5 seconds into the latest trailer and we’ve pulled a screen which you can see below. Is it really him? Looks like it.

We’re digging into the latest build of Pacific Rift as we speak, so look out for some hands on impressions and possibly a few more gameplay videos soon.

MotorStorm Pacific Rift is due for release next month exclusively on PlayStation 3. Pre-order it from Play.com and you’ll even get a free t-shirt. You can even enter promo code MTRSTORM for £5 off. Nice.

you’re all so retarded. you’ll do anything for a page view.

    That’s not dante
and the other character wasn’t snake.

its so PAINFULLY OBVIOUS that you can customize your car, and your driver, now–maybe with things you get from winning races. WHO KNOWS.

All I know is that evolution studios doesn’t have the funds to write a check to konami and capcom asking to use their most POPULAR characters, so they can die over and over and beautiful slow motions crashes. I mean, seriously, you’d expect maybe a sony first party exclusive to show instead of these two. Kratos [why alwasy kratos..] on a bike? Nuriko? ratchet? Those are things WORTH getting on a bike and would be a joy to see. Dante and Snake are just… out there.

    Honestly. Think about things.

I agree that it probably isn’t but I think that’s a bit harsh alti. To be fair, when you look at the pic in full screen it does look a bit like Dante (or Nero) and a customization option hasn’t been shown, so I don’t think it’s fair to assume there is one.

But yeah, get Kratos on a bike and I’ll be there day one!
