The promised Star Wars: The Force Unleashed demo is available to download now on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, with a PSN release later today.

The demo, which weighs in at 905MB, allows you to try one of the early levels in the game: the TIE Fighter Construction Facility. The press release tells us that “the Secret Apprentice has been sent by Darth Vader to hunt down and destroy the General, but is also told that, in order to remain a secret, he is to leave no witnesses”. So there you go.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed releases on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PS2, PSP and DS on September 19th.
