The rumours were true, Microsoft has confirmed today that Master Chief will be appearing in Fable II.

However, those wanting to play as the Chief will have to stump up that little bit extra – the “otherwordly” content will only be available in the Limited Edition version of Fable II.

Microsoft also revealed that Fable II will ship on October 21st in the States, with a European release following three days later on October 24th.
