Warhammer Online dated and priced
GOA has announced the release date for upcoming MMORPG Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.
The PC title, based on Games Workshop’s fantasy war game, will finally see release on September 18th following a lengthy and troublesome development period. The game was originally being handled by Climax Online before its cancellation in 2004 and eventual rollout to Mythic Entertainment.
Mark Jacobs, founder and general manager of Mythic Entertainment said:
“The countdown has officially begun. Mark your calendars! September 18th is the Day of Reckoning. For the last three years, the entire team at Mythic has poured their hearts into making Warhammer Online the next great MMORPG. We are so excited to open up this world and share it with the fans that will live in it, quest in it, go to war in it and make it come alive.”
As well as confirming the date, GOA also announced pricing options and retail launch offerings. From launch, subscriptions can be purchased online and within the game for the following prices:
- 1 month for 12.99€ (£10.31)

- 6 months for 65.94€ (£52.34)
Pre-paid 60-day subscriptions will also be available through retailers for 29.99€ (£23.81).
