Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2

As much as we love the complex, technologically advanced titles that grace our modern day machinery, there was once a time where we gained simple pleasures from guiding a routine 2D sprite across an indistinct grid, or firing a volley of pixel laser beams at a torrent of incoming debris. They do say, after all, that it’s the simple things in life that make you happy.

So to lay witness to a ‘simple’ 2D twin-stick shooter becoming one of the most sought after titles on Xbox LIVE shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. The thing is, Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 isn’t quite as straightforward as it may at first appear.
