Xbox LIVE’s Summer of Arcade continues this Wednesday with the release of indie developer Jonathan Blow’s time-bending 2D platformer ‘Braid’.

Microsoft have today announced that it’ll be priced at 1200 Points, which is a little bit more expensive than the majority of LIVE Arcade titles. Be sure to give the demo a go if you feel the asking price is off-putting, the word is that this game is rather special and not to be missed.

In other LIVE Arcade news, a so far unannounced title has been spotted on the Australian classification website called ‘R-Type Dimensions’. It’s currently unknown whether this will be a totally new R-Type game or simply an older version with a new name and skin, but we’ll let you know as soon as we find out more about it.
