Xbox 360 price cut incoming?

16:3101/08/2008Posted by D+PAD StaffNo Comments

Ars Technica have today revealed that a price cut across all Xbox 360 SKUs could be coming to the US as soon as September. Their source was previously correct when they claimed that Microsoft planned to increase the size of the hard drive in the Pro model from 20GB to 60GB, so there may be some truth to this price cut rumour.

The new rumoured prices are as follows:

Arcade (no hard drive) – $199
Pro (60GB) – $299
Elite (120GB) – $399

Unfortunately the source didn’t say whether or not a similar price reduction is planned for outside of the US.
