Super Smash Bros. Brawl

How do you improve upon perfection? Though a tricky question to answer, it’s one that many developers would love to face on approaching a sequel. For fans of the original Super Smash Bros. that’s exactly what Masahiro Sakurai produced with Melee, a perfect realisation of the series that went on to become GameCube’s best selling title. It’s been six long years since then, making the build up to this highly anticipated third instalment something of a slow burner. So, now that the game’s release is finally here, can it live up to expectations?
