LEGO Star Wars’ success came as little surprise. After all, how could a game combining the world’s most loved toy with a movie saga that has inspired religions not end up a multi-million seller? An open goal for Traveller’s Tales, it would seem. What did come as a surprise, however, was how good the game actually was. A charming, simplistic platformer, it was nevertheless a carefully crafted piece of work aimed squarely at a younger audience. It had a delicate learning curve, gorgeous presentation and the developer’s love for both parts of its licence permeated every inch of its building-block constructed levels…
