We fondly recall everybody’s favourite time travelling duo Marty McFly and Emmet ‘Doc’ Brown’s tyres squeal their way through the space time continuum at eighty eight miles an hour in Back to the Future through the late eighties and early nineties. What was so good about the movies was that, amongst other things, the plot was simple enough to be understood by minors, yet at the same time clever enough to be appreciated by the more intelligent cinema-goer.
