Viva Pinata was a real achievement. In a pleasing return to form, Rare served up the perfect balance between an accessible, relaxing experience for the casual gamer and a deceptively deep gameplay mechanic for those who play a little more. Turning your small stretch of garden into an Eden-like paradise was a fantastic and innovative experience. So much so that it warranted some excitement about future instalments of the franchise; further forays into the dazzling world of the living party pieces…
