We had a severe sense of deja vu when we first loaded up TimeShift – quite appropriate given the subject matter. A scientist, in a suit, transported to an unknown authoritarian world – the watchful eyes of an all-powerful dictator raining down on us from 10ft TV’s as rebel forces duke it out on the streets below. It’s as if we’d travelled back in time to pre-2004 and straight into the hands of a wannabe Half-Life 2…
